BO Mobile 4.0 on Linux

Hello,

We have BOE 4.0 SP2 patch 6 installed on Linux. Now our requirement is to install BO Mobile 4.0 for iPad.
But we dont have the client directory under \install-directory\Mobile 14 and found no war files.

So could you please help us where we can get the BIMobileService.war files for deploying under the tomcat directory.
Is this the correction released in any further patch releases or any suitable alternative.

Please suggest.

Hi Aparna,

You would not find that directory as BI 4.0 mobile is not supported on linux/ unix environments.

Can install BI 4.0 on a windows machine, while installation select the mobi components only.

Then connect the machine to your BOE linux environment to have mobile applications running.

Once done, you would have the MobileBIService.war file required to be deployed on tomcat.

this war file will help you connect your ipad to your BOE server.

The mobile servers are not required here. The war file does all the magic!!
