Hi Ganagan,
Have you tried installing license through "Telnet Service" entioed in note 1344382
For installing a license using shell commands.
logon to the NW J2EE Engine using telnet (command telnet [NW_host] [telnet_port])
execute jump [server_node_id] (the telnet command lsc displays what are the server nodes ids)
execute add licensing
execute install_license -file [license_file]
Telnet port:- 5<Instance No>08
Thanks,
Vishal

Dear Gagan ,
Hope you are doing good.
Glad to hear that the issue is resolved.
Incase the issue persists, do the following:
1) backup your /usr/sap/<SID>/<InstID>/j2ee/admin/lib directory
(you can for example copy it under name lib_backup in the admin
directory)
2) Copy all jar files from
/usr/sap/<SID>/<InstID>/j2ee/cluster/server<(><)>n>/bin directory to
the /usr/sap/<SID>/<InstID>/j2ee/admin/lib directory.
Thank you and have a nice day :).

Hi Gagan,
For the ORA-01017, This error due to the password of the SAPR3 is not
set to default (default password for sapr3 is sap).
To change the password for the SAPR3 or SAP<SID> user you have to
use the following command:
o SAPR3 / SAP<sid> / SAP<xyz>DB / SAPSR3DB: To allow continued
logon of the R/3 work processes using the OPS$ mechanism, you
must also change the password in the SAPUSER table. The simplest
way of making a consistent change in the Oracle dictionary and in
the SAPUSER table is to use the " -f chpass" option of brconnect,
for example:
brconnect -f chpass -o [sapr3 sap<sid> sap<xyz> sapsr3] -p
<new_password>
If the password is only adjusted in the Oracle system and not in
the SAPUSER table, the work processes and tools such as R3trans
or saplicense fail with ORA-01017.
Thank You.

Deepika
