Common division

Hi,

I am already using NC common division for NX,NY,NZ divisions.

Now I want to seprate NY from Common division NC.

I removed NY from NC in VOR2.

but when i am maiking order in common division NC , it is still accepting material of NY division.

Please guide me, if there is any other customizing to remove division NY from common division NC.

please check the material master division and also check the in VOV8 in check item division activating or not , when it activating please remove , after you will check ,

Material division is NY.

VOV8 - if i remove item division still NC is taking material of NY divison.

VOV8 - CHECK division -no dialog (blank)

hi

i am VOV8 check the item division it means , material division comes for item division , like NY is material division , it comes at item division ,

when you remove the at VOV8 item division field , then it will come NC division , and also check the customer division , check OVKK for the determination of pricing procedure.

but here my reqyuirement is to make order in NC division & it should not accept any material of NY division only.

but it comes NY  division is right

Hello,

As suggested by Bojja above, put  Tick mark in tem Division check Box in VOV8 & set "2" in Check Division Field.

This will make sure that in Sales Orders NC, system will not accept material from NY Division.

But after making these changes , now NC is not accepting NX & NZ.

i want to exclude only NY.

In this case you need to go for enhancement,no standard solution for this,User exit MV45AFZZ ,take the help of ABAPer to meet the requirement.

Hello,

The setting for checking Division is avaialbe at Sales Order Level & it cannot check for a specific Division.

Setting in VOR2 (Common Division) is only for Master Data & Condition Records.

In your case you will have to apply a User Exit in Sales Order which will restrict division NY from Sales Order or NC.

You requirement is not possible in SAP Standard. Speak to your ABAPer & insert a ABAP code in Program MV45AFZZ under User Exits -

userexit_save_document or userexit_move_field_to_vbap
