Hi,

It looks like there is an error during IMPORT ABAP stage and the log clearly states "C:\dump\SAP\DATA does not exist."

Can you check the filesystem.

May be problem with your export CD, I would have once again download and replace that with the one you are using and give it a try...

And this is my observation like if we are not facing common problem, in many cases it is due to some problem with our system only  ex.  not uninstalling the previously installed system correctly, may be some software like wrong oracle client / wrong java version installed, etc etc ...

Check out for these kind of problems...

May i know the reason y u r installing 4.7......???????

SAP may not support u r 4.7 version at any cost nd if u r installing on any desktop better go to ECC version one thing the procedure of installation is different from one version to another version.

What is the O/S u r using......?

First u should install DB then CI

As for my knowledge follow below steps

1.Install Java,set JAVA_HOME and CPIC_MAX_CONV in env

2.Start Database Installation,

3.Then Install CI ,in middle it ask for DBHost name and SID for that Database.
