Different assigned values in CJ31 and S_ALR_87013558 - Budget/Actual/Commit

hi,

On a WBS, i am seeing different assigned value in CJ31 and S_ALR_87013558 report. When analysing, found that certain settlement documents generated through settlement of production order to material (production orders are assigned to wbs) are exempted in CJ31 assigned value. When i have done analysis of active availability control those documents are exempted saying that S: Settlement to object with no budget control. Because of this, cost on that WBS is getting double booked in active assigned value.

Kindly suggest the solution for above.

Regards,

Kalpesh

Hello Kalpesh,

SAP note 1414563 will explain why the value of both transactions are different.

Since the production order posting is not contributed to assigned value, therefore there is differences. Please see SAP note 178837 what is contribute and non contribute of assigned value. See the section:

'The following does not contribute to the assigned value'.

Hi Gordan,

Thanks for your promt reply I understand that system is exempting credit entry due to settlement to a non budget control object. But due to this unnecesary cost is increasing on WBS. If it exempts debit entry also then there shall be not problem. Budget is getting exhausted due to this.

Kindly suggest if there is any work around to resolve this issue.
