Storage type stock block for SD delivery

Need your help on this complex scenario.

Business used One Material for sales and production i.e its mean they selling as well using for production assembly.

When they keep material  for production suddenly any sale order comes, this material picked for outbound delivery.

Auto batch determination maintained @ delivery level.(Batch Managed Material Level)

So objective is- We need to Block the particular storage type during outbound delivery  which is reserved for production.

There is no storage Type visible in SD batch determination and business don’t want implement WM functionality for SD delivery so with help WM we can close but they don’t want WM functionality.

We tried some USER EXIT/BADI etc  but cant achieve the objective

So please provide any idea on this

Dear KK,

You need to have WM if you want storage type.

If you dont wanna configure WM then my suggestion would be to have 2 storage location, 1 for Production and another for Sales.

Pick the material from Sales storage location at the time of delivery.

Thanks for your input.

Yes we proposed this idea earlier to business but user say that its problem to transfer the item between two storage location.and no fighure like how many quantities have to keep in both storage location for delivery  and production and they feel its additional extra work.
