Dear Team,
My client wants a special range of document version to be defined which is not available in standards when i tried all the options.
Document version required is 00, A, B, C,D, E.......Z, AA, AB,AC, AD,.........AZ, BA..............ZZ
How to define the same? If any user exist please suggest me so that i can do it.?
Regards,
Satish
Hi,
May be you can try by maintaining all the required Versions types in a Ztable and use the Customer Exit 'CVDI0004' to code the required logic to get the next version from the ztable. in order to trigger this exit, i think you must provide Vers Increment to '*' in DC10. Select the Document type, double click on document.
I have attached the screenshot.

Hi Matuthi,
Yes what your client is expecting is not possible in standard system.
Please refer the use exit, "CVDI0004 User exit: DDS - determine document part and version", if you can use it for your requirement.
