Data copy with /SAPAPO/VERCOP

Hi All:

We have data in version PF-SNP in APO for several locations.  Now I wanted to copy transaction data of a specific location from 000 to PF-SNP.  if I use /SAPAPO/VERCOP it is going to wipe out the entire PF-SNP data and copy 000 into it.  I tried selection the data.  For some reason the data copy is not restrcited to the selected location.  I cannot use /SAPAPO/TSCOPY since it copied only KF that are TS.

Can anyone pl. help?

Thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

It's the default behavior. Either t.code /SAPAPO/VERCOP or the report /SAPAPO/VERSION_COPY_TRANS first delete the complete target version data (both master and transactional) and then recreates the data from the source version (the selection criteria allows you copy the source version data selectively).

Without customization, it is not possible to retain the data.

Please check the following SAP note for details:

Thanks,
