Cannot update email in Beta

Beta version will not allow me to update my email.  It has placed an 'x' infront of my email.  When I try to remove it it says email already used!!

Hi Zenon,

Thomas is right. Your other account is Former Member. Login there and change that mail address to a different one.

Otherwise contact SCN support for help.

I could not change the email in my 'old' login. 

I've emailed  SCN support.

I'll let you know the outcome.

Fixed or should I say I have a working solution

I have an SCN account (old version)and a SAP Support Account with the same email.

Looks like these 2 accounts can not have the same email in the new SCN beta.

Hi Zenon,

that is correct that the new system doesn't allow multiple usage of the same email address. The solution is to login with the other account and change it there first.

Have a look at the tail end of this discussion

It seems you have multiple SCN accounts (marketplace S-users?) and your email address is used in one of these already. You could locate the other IDs and change them so your address is free for this account, or also try your luck in emailing SCN support about a deletion of unwanted IDs, thus freeing up the address as well (hopefully).
