Mail Confirmation from Advantco SFTP Adapter and File name convention

Hi,

I'm configuring the scenartio File -> PI -> SFTP (Advantco).

1) Output of the file should be in the following format,

Sample file naming   : XXXXXXXX_SAP_2010_06202011101500.txt
Naming convention for the file is as follows:
1<->8 : Constant ‘XXXXXXXX’
9 : Separator ‘_’
10<->12 : Source of the file (System from where file is generated)
13 : Separator ‘_’
14<->17  : Fiscal year for which the file is generated for
18  : Separator ‘_’
19<->32  : Date of run + Time stamp
33<->35  : file extension (either .txt or .dat as specified by One Source)

How can we acheive this with Advantco SFTP Receiver Adapter.

2) Customer needs Message/E-mail confirmation on sucessful posting of the message message from PI to 3rd party system.

Please provide your input on this.

Hi,

Normally, the file name is set for instance with Dynamic Configuration & Adapter-Specific Message Attributes. Honestly I do not know this particular adapter, but you can check if it contains the ASMA, just like file adapter does:

For confirmation e-mails: if you want them generated only for successful messages, I believe this can only be done with BPM. Alternatively, you could define the message branch in receiver/interface determination, and send the confirmation for each processed message, if that is acceptable (no BPM required).
