MDM CCMS on UNIX:

Hi MDM Experts,

We are trying to implement the CCMS on UNIX. We are running MDM 5.5 SP4 P02 HF02. The document at SAP's SMP, "Install and Configure MDM CCMS Monitoring on Windows and UNIX.pdf" claims that the server files should be containing the mdm_ccms.so MDM plug-in for CCMS support. We were unable to locate this file.

Can any one give the location of the file and the right installation procedure.

SAP provided the file from SAP-NET. Open an OSS for the file.

I’am wondered about the fact that you got the the file from SAP.

Please have a look at SAP Note 1072842 - MDM 5.5 SP06 Release under Known issues.

"Computing Center Management System (CCMS) for MDM not Supported on Unix Platforms".

CCMS for MDM on Unix will be supported only with 7.1 (expected release date: around December 2008)

We encounter the same issue with MDM 5.5 SP4 P04 HF05.

Do you already have a solution where to find the mdm_ccms.so file and are you willing to share this information.
