Hi. We're starting to build out the sourcing module, and the question has come up on whether or not Sourcing can use transports in Solman to move changes. The Sourcing team is saying no, and the documentation seems to support them, showing an export/import method.
Seems a bit silly (stupid, really) for SAP to have different methods of moving changes - is this really the case or can transports be used?
Thanks.
Bernie
Hi,
As far as I know .. You need to deploy sourcing on CE enviornment and CE runs on Java. So using CTS+ and NWDI functionalities .. I think you can configure charm for this env..
Please check the documentation for CTS+ and charm.

Well, we finally got this working. Found that the MDM /CTS+ configuration document gave us "most" of the information that we needed. OMA files are transportable via loose coupling.
