BPC10 Administration cant open

Hi gurus,

Our problem is about BPC 10 Admin console. When we want to open BPC admin console on Internet Explorer 8 , we can see Netweaver interface ( username , password screen). After  we enter  username and password , the screen is freeze or lag.So there is nothing in the screen.

I have already upgrade flash adobe 11. I have already read prerequisites and everthing seems ok.

Do you know any options about internet explorer 8 for BPC 10 console? (About security, tools etc.)

Please see note 1624267  - BPC NW 10: Cannot log on to BPC Web Client

Resolution

Please delete cookies in the browser. For Internet Explorer this can be done in Tools - Internet Options - General tab, section Browsing history click Delete... - select Cookies option and click Delete. Log on to BPC Web Client again.

Thanks for sharing the solution, just to clarify, sometimes deleting the cookies through browser is not enough so you have to go to internet temporary files folder and delete those files manually.

After doing that we finally managed to connect to the web admin again.

For others, you need to add the BPC Admin to compatibility view then reboot IE. It should work OK then.

Hi,

I know this problem has been solved but for me I was running Internet Explorer 11 and experienced the same problem as described.

I added 'localhost' and the server name ('bpcsvr01', for example) to Compatibility View Settings from the Tools menu in IE11 and it worked 100%.

Maybe it helps someone else.

Hi Bahadir,

I know, it is very late and you already got the solution. But there are two single roles you need to have in the backend ERP system to have web access. These are :

         /POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT    

·      /POA/BUI_UM_USER            

So these two roles have to be present in the user profile in the  ABAP system for the user to have web login access. Hope it helps for others!

Please make sure you have all the below set of software installed in your machine as a prerequisite for installing and working on BPC 10.

1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or 8.0
2. Adobe Flash Player 10 Version or later
3. Microsoft Web Services Enhancement 3.0  Ver.  .

Steps for Configuration

1. Add IP address of your BPC site in your host file.
2. Add cloud IP address of BI system in host file, may be it will resolve your problem .
