Unable to launch application: InvalidArgumentException

Hi,

I'm having the issue with launching ESR and ID. I'm facing the below issue, 'Unable to launch application: InvalidArgumentException[ Invalid arguments supplied: { }]at com.sun.javaws.Main.continueInSecureThread(Unknown Source)at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source)at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)'

This is issue only occuring for Developement System. Quality and production sysyem are working fine. Host file entries are maintained correctly.

I'm using Java version 7.

Could you please anyone can help me on this.

This could be a java version issue. Check this note:

Remind this:

XI 3.0 - 1.4.2 java version

SAP PI 7.1 - 1.5 java version

If you use Java only for SAP PI I would suggest you remove Java 7 from your computer and install Java 5 or 6.

Alternatively, you could try to delete client jar files on your computer. Go to Run-> type javaws/javaws -viewer  and delete the client files. After that restart ESR and ID again.
