User EXIT_SAPMQEVA_003 overwrites by standard logic

We want to use exit EXIT_SAPMQEVA_003 for calculating next insepction date of inspection lot of type 09. But problem here arrives is exit works perfectly fine upto ud save, but sap again overwrites the next inspection date calculated by our custom logic with standard behavior(ud date + prfrq). My question is, then why sap has provide this exit which is specificly provided for calculating next inspection date.

What batch level are you using?  What field are you updating in your custom logic in the user exit?  Is it possible you are updating the wrong batch table?

Update MCH1 for material or client level batch.

Update MCHA for plant level.
