Webi Report using IDT BICS connection - running slow as compared to Bex

Hi,

I have a webi report using BICS connection made through IDT and the report shows BW hierarchy data.

The issue is report runs very fast in BW but through Web i it takes around 5 min for the same input criteria . Is there some settings required to be done to speed up the Web i Report.

Note : There are no calculations or derived variables used in the report , its just the same bex query being run through Web i .
