Hi,
We are facing an issue in integrating HRMS module to Project System. As it is defined in SAP, a work center can be a group of people, or group of machine, etc and in our case we opted the concept a group of people as a workcenter. The problem is when a new employee joins to the company, the number of individual capacity of work center is not automatically increasing, similarly when a employee leaves the company individual capacity is not automatically reducing. Please put some light on this.
Thanks

Capacity evaluation report CM01 is not updated with actual available capacity from HRMS assignment, instead it is using standard capacity which is manually updated in work center capacity header screen. Please advise a work around to bring available capacity from HRMS assignment to this report.
Thanks

Hi,
IN work center you can assign the personnel numbers. It is only for making a relationship, also it is possible to have one personnel number assigned to many work centers. The capacity for work center is derived from Capacity header' data in work center. Here you need to define available capacity and individual capacities= number of employees under that work center. If you added new personnel number, then you also increase number of employees in individual capacities.

Thanks very much, but in construction industry some projects are purely manpower oriented, in that case massive manpower will be mobilized in a short period similarly demobilization also. In other case project manpower requirement increases gradually, accordingly recruitment will happen. I would say that the number of individual capacity of a work center is totally dynamic, it varies from day to day basis. In this scenario if you proceed with manual update of individual capacity, possibility of human error is high. Also you may not get history of manpower in past period.
