SRM- CATALOGUE/FREE TEXT FUNCTIONALITY

Hi,

Does anyone know how you could create a sales order from a shopping cart? i.e. we punchout and from here we choose our products, send for approval, then once approved, it creates a sales order rather than a purchase requistion in SRM? I do not have a solution, yet, so this could work in either classic or extended classic. Thanks for you help!!

Hello,

I am afraid that this is not possible. SRM is responsible for buying something and sales order you are trying to sell something. Concepts are different.

In SRM, from shopping cart you can have purchase orders, purchase requisitions and reservations. All of them are procurement documents.
