I have a DMS doc type XXX and I'd like insert ONLY JPG and GIF file in this doc.

What the path I should use in SPRO?

Hi Fernando,

regarding your requirement there is one option to define a default workstation application for a document type in transaction DC10. Here you can set one application which is then always used as default workstation application if you add an original file in CV01N or CV02N.

If you want to restrict on some allowed workstation application you can use BADI DOCUMENT_FILES01 with method BEFORE_ASSIGN_FILE.

Hi,

Goto Tcode 'DC30' or the path provided in the image.

Select the JPG and docuble click on 'Define Templates for Original files'.

Main an entry for the said Document type by providing below details,

Give the Document Type, Application as 'JPG', Language and Description.

Save.

Similarly do for GIF files.
