Move initial coloumn in planning view to another position

Hello,

I just look into a planning book and I recognized that the initial coloumn in this planning book was situated on a strange position in this planning book. The coloumn was situated before bucket 04.2011.

Actual, I thought that the initial coloumn is always situated before the current coloumn, thus 04.2012. But I think I am mistaken....

Does anybody know how to move the initial coloumn to another position, especially in my case to position 04.2012?

Thanks and kind regards

Heinz

Hi Heinz,

Initial column is always the very first column in your planning view.

If you want to change it, you need to change the display of your planning view.

Go to /n/sapapo/sdp8b, give the name of your planning book and click on 'edit'.

Come to tab 'data view':

1) If you can live without seeing and using data from the past, remove the past time bucket profile "TB Profile ID (Past)". Then you would only see (and can use) data in the future in this planning view.

2) You could change the "visible from" field to show the future horizon.

3) There is a field called "Initial column". You could select the option "C" so that initial column would be shown between the past and future horizon.

Making any of above changes would not lead to loss in data, so you can play around and see which option is best/relevant for you.

Thanks - Pawan
