BPM changes not reflecting in ID

Former Member

I have created one parameterized BPM which contains message mapping in repository and done configuration by passing parameters in Integration directory in PI 7.10.

It is having 3 parameters. But realised that need 2 parametes only. So i have changed the parameters in Message mapping, Operation mapping,

and BPM from Repository.

But now the Integration process in directory shows 3 parameters only.

How can i get reflected BPM in Integration directory.

Could you please help. Thanks

Delete the BPM in ID and reimport it with same name.

Hi Kiran,

I have deleted the BPM from ID and its respective configuration. Still all 3 parameters are listed in ID instead of 2.

Hello,

Can you delete your BPM entry in table swfxicache (make sure this is the last step) and then reimport again? This was the approach we used for a bpm caching problem. Although this is not standard, it would be greatly appreciated if the proper solution is suggested

Hope this helps,
Mark

Hi Mark,

We cannot delete the entry from swfxicache table as delete option is disabled.

Thanks.

just to check, pls see your BPM changes are activated in IR.

then in ID, delete your integration process.

then pls ask your basis team to do a full CPA Cache refresh by using url:

http://hostname:j2eeport/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

by using PIDIRUSER.

then reimport your BPM in ID again and see if the changes in BPM are showing in ID.

hmm strange.........a workaround - copy paste your BPM in IR with a different name and then activate it........then in ID try to import this second BPM and see if you are getting the changed BPM...

Hello,

True, you can ask your BASIS team to remove it for you, but only do it as a last resort. Delete the entry only when you have exhausted all options.

Hope this helps,

Mark

Follow these steps;

1. Go to ID and deleted the imported integration process and activate

2. Go to ESR and check the cache status. Are there any errors for this BPM?

3. Go to SXI_CACHE and under integration process, delete the work item for your BPM

4. Reimport the BPM into ID

5. Go to SXI_CACHE and reactivate the BPM.. make sure you get a return code of 0

Hello All,

Thanks for your help.

The issue is resolved.

Actually by mistake i have not deleted one of the configurable parameter from IntegrationProcess from IR.

Hence all 3 parameters can be seen in ID too.
