Hi Experts,

I am new to BASIS. On my servers, DB02 T-code is showing any space statistics,

I have refered note 1002840 ,

SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR scheduled hourly

bt Table ORA_MON_DBCON and DB02_COLL_PLAN doesnot contain any entry. Not DEFAULT also.

DB02OLD is working fine .

could you please help me solving the issue.

Regards

Deepak

Issue Resolved.

Note 1002840 was helpful.

Upgraded the basis Patch level to SP13 coz SP12 is not stable. Reacivated collector as suggested by Ivy .

Thanks everyone for your help.

Hi Deepak,

which Basis Support Package patch level is your system running?

Have you checked following OSS notes too?

868063 - Database space statistics monitor for Oracle

1028624 - Overview of DBA Cockpit for Oracle

Hi Orkun,

When i execute the program RSORACOLR , the Oracle monitor appears but excuting in name of DEFAULT , there is no output.

But DB02OLD is showing the database stats.

Hi Deepak,

It is normal that there's no output after you execute the RSORACOLR report. It only collect the stats, over the system. The point is, what exactly happened on DB02? not DB02OLD?

Dear Deepak,

DB02 Not Showing Values

DB02 was showing correct information before ?

Have you applied any Support patches in SAP system ? If yes, then you can refer SAP note  1045803

i getting problem with ORA_MON_DBCON table as it not showing any entries.

Table ORA_MON_DBCON contains the entries of Local Database and Remote Database. Also have you referred this SAP Note 1508792  ?

Hi Bhavik,

No, DB02 was showing any information before. we were using DB02OLD instead.

Neither we have applied any patch in system nor note 1508792 is helping.

Deepak

Hi Deepak,

Can you please try to re-activate collector modules as follows?

      1. Call report RSORACUP with parameter:
                       CON_NAME = <DB connection>
                       OPERATIO = DELETE

      2. If you are asked to delete entries in MONI, say NO.

      3. Call report RSORACUP again with parameters:
                       CON_NAME = <DB connection>
                       OPERATIO = CREATE

Then, try to  click on the "refresh" button in DB02?

Please also check the refesh space statistic job if any error exist.

If same issue, please check  SAP note 1002840 again.

Cheers,

Ivy
