Hi, it seems I am getting subscribed to some questions which are not relevant to me. I'm not sure how to unsubscribe. These messages will say "[someone] added you as a collaborator on [topic name]".
Then under the post it looks like they are adding recipients as a private message? for example: http://scn.sap.com/message/13183096 or http://scn.sap.com/thread/3160938 or http://scn.sap.com/thread/3159214
This is happening a few times so I wonder if it something I accidentally signed up for, people not understanding the system, or people abusing the system?
Thanks and regards,
Aaron
This happens when someone opens a private discussion: you need to specify specific people when you open the thread like this and this is what happened here.
It's a bit strange to do things like this: why share information to limited set of people? There are other ways to get their attention like putting it in the right space where the XYZ topic people hang out.

shyeah! agreed.
Maybe they are just really confused on how to find the right forum and post under it publicly?
I guess if people don't answer questions when posted this way, people will stop it.
Unfortunately I cannot seem "stop tracking" when unwillingly added to a conversation in this way. I assume this will be resolved when the overall "stop tracking" issue is resolved with the new SCN.
Regards,
Aaron
