SAP CHARM and Test Management integration scenario

Hi All,

In our project, we would like to develope a scenario for using Charm for change management and during the testing phase .. test management should be used.

How can we integrate both of these features in the solution manager. For example, during testing phase , consultants/testers should use test management which will have the references in the change document.

Please provide some insight on this.

Hi Jagadish,

The test workbench is now fully integrated into Solution Manager 7.1 ChaRM Transcation type.feature allows defect corrections to link to the associated test plans and test packages directly within the defect correction in ChaRM.

please check the  Test Management assignment block as mention in fig.

Hi Jagadish,

there is no such integration in the standard SolMan 7.0, this integration was one of the great new functionalities coming with 7.1. In 7.0 you can only register your test defects as service desk messages (if Service Desk is configured), but not directly linked to a correction or a test message to save the test information and status.
