saprouttab configuration

Hi,

I'm starting to administrate SAP. I wanto to stablish a connection with SAP using the SAPRouter. I have alredy installed the SAP router but I'm not sure if the saprouttab is wel configured.

When I try to open the conection the following error appears in the dev_rfc file:

Connect to SAP gateway failed

Can you help me please?

Dear Esaul,

the error simply means that there was a problem reaching the gateway. It depends on what you are doing there. Documentation for the saprouter can be found <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/26/95563cda79d734e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm">here</a>.

Without a more detailed description of your landscape and what you are trying to do, it will not be possible to give you specific advice what to change.

HI Esaul,

I think It is gateway problem can you please check gateway ports data is correctly mentioned, plese check note 540379,737742 for port related issue. For router related info please check note 30289 whcih will have document attached to it.
