Machine Hour and Labour Hour in Single Activity

Hi Experts

In my project, For completion of one internal activity it requires certain manpower hours and labour hours.

The cost is driven through Activity Type, which i assign it in my work centre-which further assigned it in the Activity. I can only assign one activity type in my Network Activity, which could be either for manpower or machine.

How do i calculate both the variable together for completion of one activity.

Is PRT a solution, as i haven't worked on the same.

Your Vital inputs required

Thanks and Regards
Simon

Hi,

The available best option would be using "activity elements" and assign difference work centre so that it will take care of your requirements.

Hi Simon,

Please explore the option of activity element. You can break activity into elements and assign different activity types to elements. Hope this helps.

Hello Simon,

Activity elements option would be easy & best way to handle this scenario.

Anyways, just share with forum, whatever method you finally adopt.

Explore the option of PRT's. You might get some more benefits by using PRT's to fulfill this requirement. Else you can also think of using activity elements for this.

Simon,

why don't you use activity elements under that activity? This way you can capture both the cost under that activity.
