Cannot read license

Hi,

I have just finished installing my saprouter on my solution manager server, now after using the guid below to make the saprouter an NT service:

The permanent license I'd installed has vanished and I am getting the error:

Cannot read licenses

In transaction code slicense.

And when I try to reinstall the license I get the error:

rc of SsfEncode: 11 = SSF_API_ENCODE_FAILED = ASN.1 encoding failed

Please assist.

Hi,

please make sure after you install the new license, did you restarted the system to clear up the old license in the buffer

And the sap note 662340 is really helpful, follow this.

And other case like this also happen the issue with hardware key, check this posiblity too

Hi,

For this issue please refer to note 870871 in order to install the new license and also
refer to note 662340 (Installed base chapter 1-5) to install the
SAPCryptolib:

http://service.sap.com/swdc
=> Support Packages and Patches
  => Additional Components
   => SAPSECULIB
...

If necessary delete file LASVerify.pse in the directory
$DIR_INSTANCE$/sec and start the system again. Then it should
be possible to install the new license.
Please take into account that < path of SAPCRYPTOLIB > in the note
means the complete path including file name of the library.
The configuration should look like this:

ssf/name = SAPSECULIB
ssf/ssfapi_lib = $(DIR_INSTANCE)\exe\sapcrypto.dll
sec/libsapsecu = $(DIR_INSTANCE)\exe\sapcrypto.dll
