Actual GI date = Planned GI date

We have a requirement to automatically determine the actual GI date as same as the planned GI date.  Please let me know how do we achieve this.  Currently the system is taking current date as the actual GI date. 
Note: we use PGI in background (VL21) program for doing the PGI.

Try using user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in program MV50AFZ1 to keep the actual PGI date similar to planned GI date.
