ARE1 External Number Range

Hi,

I've assigned external number range in SNRO for the object J_1IARE1. The field "Form No." doesn't appear in the create J1IA101 transaction. When I try to post the ARE1, system gives the error, "Error Form Field Number". In change mode the field appears but is grayed out. I've checked the config in Transaction Modes but couldn't find the soln. How could this be resolved?

Can you please check for following objects , whether you have maintained them correctly.

J_1IINTNUM   Internally document number to be generated

J_1IARE1  ARE1 Doc No object based on Series Group

J_1IARE3  ARE3 Doc No object based on Series Group

J_1IINTPR2    Despatch serial number

Hi Anand,

Thanx for the reply. I've gone the thread before, it doesn't speak of external number range and how to manually assign the ARE1/3 number when the posting is done.
