SD - Automatic Picking and Goods Issue through background job

Hi ,

    We want to automate picking and deliveries through background jobs in our plant.

    Is it possible to achieve automatic picking and goods issue through background job where WM is not active ? .

    If yes , How do we achieve picking and goods issue automatically through background job ? .

    Though i have gone through some posts in SCN , they aren't clear enough  . Pl help.

Automatic picking and PGI is achievable through VL06O.

if no WMS, you can change delivery item cat in 0VLP to non-picking relevant. Find check box Relevant for Picking. Uncheck it, and you can do a automatic PGI in background.

Hi

As suggested, you can control the picking activity through the item category. So if you un-check the Picking at delivery item category level you can avoid doing the picking acitvity and then using the program you can schedule you PGI to happen automatically.

As already suggested, you need to deactivate picking if no WM is configured.  Next either via BADI WS_LM_GOODS_MOVEMENT or Function Module WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE, you can automate auto PGI and the program name for PGI is  WS_MONITOR_OUTB_DEL_GDSI

This is possible , we do have certain tools which does the job for us in SAP in scheduling the background jobs,
