Credit check in vov7 and vov8

Dear sd gurus very goo morning

                         I have one doubt that in vov7 one credit check available and vov8 one credit check available suppose for one document if  i activate credit check in vov7 and not activate in vov8 what will be happend

if activate in vov8 and not activate in vov7 what will be happend

if you think it is basic question pl forgive me

If you activate in VOV8 means your document is relevant for Credit, and what type action taken by system

If you activate in VOV7 means your Sales document item is relevant for Credit. for example in your sales has two line item, in first line item(vov7) credit is active and 2nd line credit is not active. Than first line value is calculate for credit and second line value will not calculate for credit.

As per your questions

1st)

Answer ) In item level it will not work.

2nd)

      

Answer ) Credit Check will not work for whole document. You must activate in vov8 if you want it work for item (VOV7).

You can carry out credit check if you activate in document type & activating credit check in item categories ensures you that this item is meant for credit management.
