SAP JVM 6.1 Ldap and alias dereferencing

Hello SAP-Experts,

we have a SAP Portal with Netweaver 7.3 and SAP Java 6.1.

Now we want to connect the portal to our novell ldap. After saving the ldap-settings, the Portal goes into a timeout.

The Ldap-Log shows, that the Portal make a request with alias dereferencing. I think that is the reason for the timeout.

Is there a parrameter to deactive alias dereferencing on SAP JVM?

i solved the problem by creating file jndi.properties with option java.naming.ldap.derefAliases=never
