Default printing configuration

Hello,

I have modified our default sap windows printing with the following.

OLDPRINTER

- AccessMethod=F

- Device Type=SAPWIN

- Print mode=DEFAULT: Printer default setting (not duplex)

NEWPRINTER

- AccessMethod=G

- Device Type=POST2

- Print mode=DEFAULT: Printer default setting (not duplex)

After a few days, users started to complain because it prints in simplex with OLDPRINTER

and in duplex with NEWPRINTER.

I have checked his PC Windows XP Printer configuration.

It is set in Simplex.

Would you know why this spad change modifies the duplex printing behavior?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hello,

I have read the wiki.

It explains how to set printing options in programs.

But it does not help me to understand why changing the access method changes the behavior.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hello,

I have read this thread.

It concerns RAS SDK which is not the case for me.

I am speaking about a AS Abap.

Would someone have other explanation for this problem?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
