Transfer HR to GTS RBMIDOC HRMD_ABA not working

Hi Gurus,

We have implemented HR Integration one year ago.

We have implemented it according the SAP notes.

With RBMIDOC  HRMD_ABA we want to transfer the changes and new HR entries.

We run this as a job daily.

But for some reasons there are no data send to GTS.

Are there any known issues why the deltas are not transferred?

(The Connection is working 100%)

Hi Günther,

Is there a suitable Process Code assigned to the Message Type in Transaction WE42?  And is a Partner Profile set up in Transaction We20?

Hi Dave,

Yes in WE20 partner profile is set up with HRMD_ABA.

What needs to  be in WE42? There are the standard settings.

It was all set up according SAP notes.

The initial transfer with transaction PFAL was working properly.

Means the connection must be set up okay.

My problem is the deltas (the new created HR Persons) are not transferred through Job

RBMIDOC with type HRMD_ABA?

Can you or anyone help?

Hi Dieter,

In the standard ERP system, Message Type 'HRMD_ABA' is assigned to Process Code 'HRMD'.  That Process Code calls Function Module IDOC_INPUT_HRMD.

Please make sure that the same settings are made in your GTS system.  If the Message Type is not linked to a Process Code, no inbound processing will be carried out.

I looked more closely at this after reading your last note again...

I am still not clear about the problem: you say that you implemented this a year ago - do you mean that deltas have never worked, or that they work ok into your other SAP systems but not into GTS?

If the initial transfer works, then the iDoc set-up is ok, as you say, and the problem must be due to the Change Pointer set up or processing.  If the deltas have never worked, then make sure that Function Module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_HRMD is assigned to the Message Type (in BD60), and that any changes are being recorded in tables BDCP and BDCPV.

Hello GTS Experts,

We are exlporing the HR data transfer to GTS. In our case through PFAL, Employee data is transferred to GTS through IDOC but BP Employee is not getting created ? BP role of BUP003 is already defined.

Have used Note 875270 to do the config.

Is there anything else that needs to be done in GTS ?
