Rajesh,

For capacity consuming operations, you can affect the scheduling of the operation by changing the calendar assigned to the resource that is used in that operation.  /SAPAPO/RES01

Assuming you are also integrating to ECC, you should also assign the same calendar to the Work Center Capacity in ECC.  CR02

DB49,

Thanks for the elaboration. Since the active capacity variant includes the capacity profile based on the calendar associated with the resource, I have not explained it in detail in my response.

Hi Sriini,

The PPM's primary resource capacity requirements will be calculated based on the base and order quantities. This will be adjusted by the resource's active capacity variant (for instance capacity utilization, working hours, shifts, breaks, etc.). This further refined by a production calendar defined at the location level (t.code /SAPAPO/LOC3 and Calendars tab) during activities scheduling.

Production calendar is based on a factory calendar and is represented as a continuous time stream. It is used to schedule production activities. A production calendar valid for the entire production is assigned to a location.

Thanks,
Rajesh
