Commitment Values different in Local Currency & Transaction Currency

Hello Friends ,

I have a  query related to commitment values , It might be  very simple and silly query but still I need your help for it  as I am very new  to this .

When I view the CO Commitments for Purchase Order say for example 123456 via ME23N T code .

The issue is that for certain line items of a purchase order the Value in Local Currency 0,00 where local currency is PLN, but the value in Transaction Currency

is 31,6921,00 EUR ..

Will this be possible . Is there any error or not as the values are not matching . Please see the attached file for the screenshot of the same

This is possible. I guess it has to do with the exchange rate. If the exchange rate is not maintained for the local currency and the transaction currency this can happen, assuming that the PO is created in Transaction currency.

You can check the exchange rates in OB08 tcode. Check if the exchange rate is maintained. By the way which report are you seeing for commitments. Check the CJI5 report as well to see what currency is displayed there.
