Static Ip For Solution Manager

Hi All,

I Already Install SAP Solution Manager 7.0 And Now Im In the middle of the post installation (Configuring Remote Connection to SAP Support). But I have A doubt Here,

Am i Supposed to have a static IP for This System? (Static IP That have been registered with telco company) thats mean i have to register an IP that only can be use by my company not another Or i can use the ordinary Ip that been provided when i register my internet.

Hi Shahril,

As far as I know you need to have an external ip address for the solman  in the sap router configuration when you are connecting to SAP remote service so that SAP OSS can conenct with that ip.
