Upgrade to Netweaver 7.3: DMIS_BSC

Hi,

We are currently upgrading our BI system to Netweaver 7.3.  We have been prompted, as part of the upgrade, for replacments for addons.  We have managed to find replacements for all items, including DMIS, but the item DMIS_BSC cannot be replaced.  We have to upgrade to TDMS 4.0 because of the upgrade 7.3.

The issue seems to stem from the fact that the DMIS_BSC is no longer used, and is now covered by DMIS_CNT, however, the sapupg component doesn't realise this and therefore refuses to acknowledge this newer component.

Can anyone advise us on the upgrade of Netweaver 7.3 from 7.01 when the component DMIS_BSC is in the system? How should we proceed to include this item?

Hi,

To let people know the outcome - we contacted SAP support and determined that this must be done using the Stack XML - which Maintainance Optimizer had missed during our upgrade run.

Issue is now resolved.
