GRC AC 5.3 - 10.0 migration in sandbox - connection error with NWBC

Hello,

We have gone through the migration steps to move our AC 5.3 data (only RAR and SPM, we do not utilize CUP or ERM) to 10.0 (sandbox).

We have completed the migration steps per the Migration Guide, with help from the Pre/Post Installation Guides for GRC and AC, including activating the AC roles and creating their Z version.

When we go to launch the NWBC, we get a "500 Internal Server Error"

• The following error occurred in system GTS : No administration role defined for cockpit "ac". Searched for both "SAP_DAL_ADMIN_ac" and "Z_DAL_ADMIN_ac".
• The error occurred on application server ab16_ABC_38 and in work process 3 .
• The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
• The ABAP call stack was:
  Method: RAISE of program CX_DAL_RUNTIME================CP
  Method: CONSTRUCTOR of program CL_DAL_RUNTIME================CP
  Method: GET of program CL_DAL_RUNTIME================CP

As I am very new to GRC 10, so my initial questions would be:

1. Am I missing a key piece of config for NWBC?

2. Could this be security related?

3. Did I miss something that is not a part of the Migration Guide?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jes,

Re-Check if all the SICF services are avtivated.(Activate everything under Public, SAP, BC nodes).Re-Check the url.

To ge the URL & Test if NWBC is working:

SICF-->SAP-->BC-->NWBC--> Right click on NWBC node & Select Test Service.

Hi Ajesh,

I am getting same error , all services are active in NWBC test service it's showing error .

[An exception occurred that was not caught.] in Report[CX_DAL_RUNTIME===============]
