When we ship a delivery to a customer we ship it using a standard shipping condition. We currently do the same for backorder items but we now have a requirement to change it to ship express but only if it is on backorder. e.g. we have a sales order for 10 different items. We can issue 9 of them immediately as we have the stock so those 9 are sent out with standard shipping conditions. When the stock is available for the 10th item, because it is on backorder then we want to ship it express instead of standard. We would like this to be done automatically at the time of delivery creation instead of manually changing the shipping conditions in the delivery once it has been created.
Anyone has any ideas or pointers as to how we can do this?
