IE 9 Issue on 5.3 SP 16

Has anyone else experienced issues when using IE 9 on 5.3 SP 16? Any ideas on fixes?

Hi Kyle,

Check the below link from PAM for Browser compatability:

It doesnt list IE9.

We are on IE8 and worked on SP11 & SP17. No problem found.

Have you faced particular problem with IE9 or planning to move to IE9.

Wait and see what will be other responses.... Do not close the thread.

Hi Kyle,

Yes, I've faced the problem described here: Note 1651412 - AC CUP: Role
import/export from excel returns Action Failed.

And I couldn't fix it so far with the instructions provided in the note.

SAP States:

"There is bug in th new release of IE9 and after the dicussion with the Microsoft

team the issue has been figured out. They will be providing the fix in the

upcoming patches of the IE9 however from CUP perspective certain javascript

functions and method calls are depricated by IE9 without any workaround

suggested."
