How to give "display supplier" role for Buyers

Hi,

We do not want that all our buyer should have "create supplier" authorizations. We want to give only "Display Supplier" for few buyers.

We found that, this authorization was coming from Role SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER (Copied to ZSAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER), authorization object BBP_FUNCT Activity CR_COMPANY.

We are unable to find out suitable activity which gives only "Display Supplier". Can someone help?

Dear Ganapathi,

Please try in following stpes

1. Go to pfcg transaction and display the role which you want to modify ( Z Role not Std)

2. Go to Authorization tab

3. Display authorization data

Components will be displayed

4. Select Cross Application Authorization objects

5. Business partner : BPRoles

6. Click on Activity

7. Remove 01 and 02 ( Create and Change)

8. Generate the Role

9. Save the role

10. Complete User Comparision

Thanks for the response.

I have already tried you suggestion. In spite of that if I give authorization for activity CR_COMPANY, as I said above, the buyer is getting "Create Supplier" activated.

I did not find CR_ACTIVITY in Role Activities list.  Can you provide the screen shot ?

It is not CR_ACTIVITY it is CR_COMPANY. Please find the screenshot. Ganapathi

Please refer my reply  from point number 4.  Try with changing Cross Application Authorization objects.  I am herewith attaching the screen shot.

Sorry Ram! I have already tried it, it is not working.

Did you try setting the authorization in your system. Whether it is behaving in your system properly?
