Hello SAP gurus,

I'm working on "BUDGET CHANGE HISTORY " report in which i'm supposed to display follwing table format.

WBS ElementOriginal Sanctioned budgetNew Budget
WBS110001200
WBS25000045000
WBS33000200

where Original budget is the very first budget sanctioned (not the last budget before changing it to new Budget).

Thanks in advance.....

Regards,

Nikhil Ghadge.

Hi Nikhil,

Will you please elaborate your requirement? Is this the report format you want? You can get it from standard SAP reports T-code S_ALR_87013560.

Hi,

I forgot to mention one more thing that, when you are doing budgeting (CJ30) for the 1st time and only once, it will be displayed as original budget. In order to get current budget, you have to use either supplement/return/transfer but not CJ30 anymore.

Thanks,

Hello Soubhagya, thanks for replying.

Consider there is a WBS element, say WBS1, and it's original budget was 500/-.

Suppose this budget is changed 3 times,

say 500 to 600, 600 to 700 , 700 to 800.

then, according to my report requirement,

original budget = 500   (not 700)

new budget = 800.

in short, I need to know,

Is there any table which preserves it's original value....?

Hi Nikhil,

As I've mentioned earlier, through S_ALR_87013560 report you can get the original budget, current budget, supplement and return budget. All these budget related data are stored in the BPGE table.

But you have to enter the budget through CJ30 only once in a project.

As per your example : Through T-code CJ30, you upload budget and that is your original budget.

Then you want change it to 600, for which you have to go for Supplement CJ37 and again if you want to the budget from 600 to 700 then again you have to run CJ37 for additional 100.

All these data are stored in the BPGE table with different business transaction.

Hope you got your answer.

Thanks,

Thanks a lot Soubhagya,

A you said...this is the output of the BPGE table. But I'm still confused.

Here how can I find the required WBS element and it's original budget...?

cause there is no PSPNR in this table....

(NOTE: click on image to enlarge it)

Please reply...

Please refer table PRPS to get the PSPNR. Always remember this for all cost related database tables only store object numbers. You need to refer object number in PRPS to get the PSPNR.

Hi,

You can use PRPS-OBJNR to go to any cost/ budget related report.

Even for COSS and COSP , you need to use object number (OBJNR) from PRPS to get the correct data for WBS.
