How to set postal code as optinal filed during vendor master.

Dear all,

If i give address in vendor master system ask to enter postal code.But here I don't have postal code.

So how can i set that postal code as optional..In omsg for Account group postal code is optional field. But this is not control over there.

please help me how to do it..

Hi Ramesh,

You can also make Paostal Code Mandetory and optional for Country

IMG -> SAP Netweaver --> General settings --> Set countries --> Set Country specific checks.

Hi Ramesh,

You can make optional field for postal code thru below path.

IMG->SAP NetWeaver->General Settings->Set Countries->Set Country Specific Check and execute it and select the country and click on details button. like

But this field is required for all master data like customer and vendor master or employee master

Dear Anand Your answer solved problem.

Feild selection for Account group(OMSG) and OMSX feilds are not control the requied option.

MG -> SAP Netweaver --> General settings --> Set countries --> Set Country specific checks.----this path is solved the Above problem..

check field selection at SPRO:Logisitic general > Business Patner > vendors > control >Define transaction dependent screen layout ... or t.code: OMSX

Also Try from below Path also for your Country say "IN",

SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver --> General settings --> Set countries --> Set Country specific checks

Here you can manage to make postal code mandatory/optional for individual country.
