SAP Customer master description update

Hi,

We maintain sales representatives as customer master data with account group as ZSRP- Sales representative.

Recently, I changed the name of 1 customer master data(sales rep) to another sales rep's name.

I can see the table- KNA1 has been updated correctly with the new change of name. Also, saw CDHDR & CDPOS tables and its been updated.

The issue is : We have a custom report Daily sales. In it, the Sales rep codes, nothing but the Customer master data descriptions still shows the old Sales rep names and have not reflected any changes.

What could be the possible reasons?

You have a custom report. It could be that the report is referencing to Sales document Sales Rep information and not master data information. Check the respective sales document if you have a old sales rep descriptions there.

dear, you would:

ask abaper to look / debug it ( may be the bug is in?);

make sure you do run this report correctly (your select-options screen);

make sure the customer changes were saved - run XD02 and check out the account changes  (all fields) at cc and sales area levels;

p.s. just in case check out your authorizations doing  /NSU53 (on the report layout)
