Error message when creating universe on cube

Hi,

I'm trying to create universe on SAP BW cube using SAP Java Connector JCO (Using Relational Connection in IDT), after i input BW server details and selecting BW cube getting following error message.

[Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'testSourceConnection1334005436264'] An error occurred while trying to ping the server: The ABAP function 'RSDRI_DF_TEST_RECEIVER' is not found on the SAP NetWeaver BW server.

We are on SAP BW 701 Release SP03 and Business Objects 4.0. Please share your thoughts on this issue.

With BI4, at a minimum BW should be at 7.01 SPS06.

I think the Data Federator facade is not included in BW in SPS03.

Correct George, this customer needs SP06 as a minimum, and most 7.01 customers are on SP08-SP10. (else 7.3 SP5-7)
