Hi,
after a system copy from PRD to QAS, I tried to reconfigure the Transport Management System and got the following error message when adding the QAS system to the transport landscape:
RFC communications error with system/destination DOM_CTL
An RFC error occurred in the TMS communications layer.
Target system: DOM_CTL.(000)
Function: TMS_CFG_CREATE_A2D_REQUEST
RFC message: Error during the retrieval of the logon data store
Error during the retrieval of the logon data stored in secure storage.
What should I do to correct this?
Transaction SECSTORE doesn't show any relevant errors...
thanks
Antonio

Hi,
thanks for your answer. But, although it had some useful information it didn't solve my particular problem.
To solve it, I had to remove the QAS system from the whole TMS landscape, delete the TMSADM user and all TMS RFCs and recreate it from scratch, adding it as a new system...
Maybe there's another way to solve this without going through all this, but this worked.
If anyone has a better solution, "I'm all ears"
thanks anyway!

Hi Antonio,
in my opinion it should be sufficient, to reenter the tmsadm-password in SM59 (even if it is the standard password).....

This worked for me
Delete the invalid Secstore entries for /RFC/TMS*
Goto STMS -> systems overview -> Extras -> Generate RFC Destinations.
You can verify by going to SECSTORE again and see that the valid /RFC/TMS* entries are generated there again. Also TMS checks can be done to verify.
