CCMS Agent Installation and Registration in Dual Stack

Dear All,

As I have Installed Solman 7.1 SP04.Now I want to Install and Register CCMS Agent in Solman server.

As I have already gone through the below useful Links.I am Confused as I got Dual Stack(AS ABAP+AS JAVA),So Should I install this agent in AS JAVA

through Visual Administrator or in AS ABAP?I am confused in this.If it will be in AS ABAP or AS JAVA then can anyone please tell me how to start this

From Solman 7.1 , CCMS monitoring require only SMD agent in statellite system. not require CCMS agent.

Hi Ajitabh,

As you are already saying you installed SAP Solman 7.1 .. I dont think you need CCMS agents..

In Your Solman Setup, You have the Techinical Monitoring configuration. You can browse through that and its having very nice monitoring features.

Hi Ajitabh,

Usually the CCMS agent is required for the availability of the servers and other tasks.

Can you tell me what is your requirement?
