Inconsistent Nav Menu Behavior

We are having an issue where, even though the links on our Navigation menu are set to "Open Link In Home Page", they sometimes open in a new window.

We are using MII 12.2.3 (Build 165) and IE 7.  The browser version is dictated by our company so I don't have the option of changing that at this time.

Has anyone else seen this issue?  Any ideas?

Hi Mike,

Try upgrading to Build 167 and it will open in the same window.

Is the fix documented somewhere?  I looked at the SAP notes related to patches 3 through 7 and I did not see anything that seemed to address this issue.

Hi Mike,

Yeah,even I'm not sure whether this fix is documented anywhere.Will have to check.Basically we faced this same issue when we had 12.2.3(165) but then when we upgraded to Build 167 which we are presently using,the Home page opened in the same window.

Hi Shawna,

Eventually our Basis team upgraded our "sandbox" environment to 12.2.3 build 179 and, unfortunately, this problem was still easily reproduced so I still do not have an answer on this one.
