ALV - Copy paste and alignment

Hi All,

This question has been discussed here many times but the answers are confusing hence i am posting the question again.Sorry for this.

I get an ALV output and want to add entries from excel to my alv. In other words, i would like to copy the data from excel and paste in my alv. In few of the

posts, i see that in webdynpro it is not possible for such feature but in few other posts i see that if the alv is in editable mode then it is possible.

That is where i am getting confused. If i click on append rows then my alv becomes editable. In this case, can we copy paste data from excel to alv?

Second question, can't we change the alv size in the output?In normal abao, after the alv is displayed, we can adjust the alv column size. Such a kind of

scenario is not possbile in webdynpro?

Please help.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. But my question is can't we change the size automatically.

For example , in normal ALV once the alv output is displayed then we can alter the column width automatically based on our need. Similarly, is it not possible in webdynpro?
